Profile Management
How do I change my profile picture?
Go to Settings (the ⚙️ icon in the top right). Click "Edit profile", then the camera icon 📸 on your avatar. Choose an image from your phone or computer, then click "Save".
How do I change my username?
In Settings (⚙️), click "Edit profile". You’ll see a "Username" field that you can modify. Don’t forget to save!
How do I change my gender?
Still in the "Edit profile" section of your Settings, you can select Male 👨 or Female 👩. If you’re in a couple, it will automatically update your couple "type" (Hetero, Gay, Lesbian).
Couple & Partner
How do I split from a partner?
In Settings, scroll down to the "Your Couple" section and click the "Split from [Username]" button. You’ll be asked to confirm. This will let you generate a new invitation code to invite another partner.
How do I link my account with my partner?
One of you needs to create an account first to get an "Invitation Code" (6 letters). The other person signs up and enters this code when prompted. You’ll be instantly connected!
Account & Data
How do I delete my account?
In your Settings, at the very bottom of the page, click "Delete my account". Warning: this action is irreversible — it will delete your data, coupons, and end your couple on the app.
What if I forget my password?
On the login page, click "Forgot password?". You’ll receive an email with a secure link to reset it.
App & PWA
How do I install the app on my phone?
CupiBoom is a Web App. On Android or PC, click the "Install the app" button in your Settings. On iPhone/iPad (Safari), tap the Share icon, then choose "Add to Home Screen".
How do I enable push notifications?
Go to your Settings and click "Enable" in the "Push notifications" section. Your browser will ask for permission. On iPhone, you must first install the app on your home screen.
Coupons & Library
Are my custom coupons visible to other people?
No, absolutely not. Your custom coupons are 100% confidential and strictly private. Only you and your partner can see them. No other user has access to the content of your coupons. What you create and exchange stays between you two, period.
What is the difference between "My favorites" and "My wishes"?
Great question! Here's the difference:
❤️ My favorites: These are coupons you want to gift to your partner. For example, if you add the "Foot Massage" coupon to your favorites, it means you are the one planning to give them a foot massage. It's a gift you're preparing for them. Your favorites are not visible to your partner.
⭐ My wishes: These are coupons you would like to receive from your partner. For example, if you place "Foot Massage" in your wishes, you're telling your partner that you'd love to receive a foot massage — one they won't be able to refuse! Your wishes are visible to your partner under the "[Name]'s wishes" tab.
In short: Favorites = what I want to give (private), Wishes = what I want to receive (visible to my partner).
